Province of Oristano

Oristano (It. Provincia di Oristano) is a province in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy. Its capital is the city of Oristano.

It has an area of 2,631 sq km, and a total population of 153,082 (2001). There are 78 communes in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see this link).
