Revenge (band)

Revenge was a side project of New Order bassist Peter Hook (bass, vocals). Other members were Dave Hicks (guitar), and Chris Jones (keyboards). Dave Hicks was later replaced by David Potts. Hook and Potts later formed Monaco.

Revenge was formed after the unofficial split up of New Order in 1989-1990 and ceased to exist in 1992.

In 2004, Revenge's one and only full album, One True Passion, was re-released with a second CD and a total of 23 additional tracks, more than triple the size of the original album release.

In 2005, an album of live material from 1991 was released, entitled No Pain No Gain.
