Rich and Strange

Rich and Strange a 1932 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock written by Dale Collins based on a novel by Alma Reville. The movie stars Henry Kendall, Joan Barry and Percy Marmont.

The Hills ask their uncle for their inheritance before he dies. The uncle gives them their inhertiance and they go on a world wide trip.

The name comes from Ariel's Song in Shakespeare's The Tempest-

   Full fathom five thy father lies;
              Of his bones are coral made;
    Those are pearls that were his eyes:
              Nothing of him that doth fade,
    But doth suffer a sea-change
    Into something rich and strange.
