Riggs Glacier, 1992

The Riggs Glacier is a glacier located in Glacier Bay National Monument in Alaska. It heads on southern slope of Takhinsha Mountains, 6 km SE of Mount Harris, trends SSE to head of Muir Inlet, 69 km SW of Skagway, Saint Elias Mountains.

It was named by the American Geographical Society in 1947 for Thomas Christmas Riggs, Jr., Governor of Alaska from 1918 to 1921.
