Robert Ettinger

Robert Chester Wilson Ettinger (born December 4, 1918) is known as "the father of cryonics". He founded the Cryonics Institute and the related Immortalist Society and until recently served as their President. His first and second wives have both been cryopreserved as well as his mother.
