The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City encompasses all of Utah and is led from the Cathedral of the Madeleine.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States. It is comprised of the entire state of Utah. Also known as the Utah Catholic Church or the See of Salt Lake City, it is led by a bishop which pastors the motherchurch, the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City.

Today, the See of Salt Lake City remains a ceremonial suffragan of the ecclesiastical province of the Archbishop of San Francisco. Its fellow suffragans include the Dioceses of Honolulu, Las Vegas, Oakland, Reno, Sacramento, San Jose, Santa Rosa and Stockton.
