Sara Lee

Sara Lee Corporation (NYSE: SLE) is an American consumer-goods company based in Chicago, Illinois, as well as the brand name of a series of frozen and packaged foods.
The company was called Consolidated Food Corporation until 1985, when it adopted the name of its best-selling brand, Sara Lee. It obtained that name in 1956 when it bought a company then known as Kitchens of Sara Lee.
As of 2004, Sara Lee Corp. has operations in 58 countries; sells food, clothing and household products in nearly 200 nations; and has 150,000 employees worldwide.
