Shadow Lord
The Shadow Lord was a principal villain from the computer game Final Fantasy XI.
He was formerly known as Talekeeper Raogrimm, the best swordsman of the Galka and member of the Mythril Musketeers. Thirty years ago, he and a few others went to cursed land of Castle Zvahl to uncover the secrets of a lost civilization. It was in this place that Raogrimm was betrayed by his best friend Ulrich. Losing the woman he loved, Cornelia, Raogrimm refused to die, swearing to exact revenge on those responsible. His hatred reacted with the dark powers within the castle and transformed Raogrimm into the Shadow Lord, with the power to command the Beastmen. It was from this transformation, the Shadow Lord realized the dark anger that smoldered within his people. From that point, he vowed to "purify" the world of all human-like races.
He eventually, with Zeid's help, regains himself long enough to be put out of his misery. However, he reappears in the game as an enemy character. Defeating the Shadow Lord will grant the player the rare Rank 6.
