Society of Actuaries

The Society of Actuaries is a professional society of actuaries in the United States. Its members are mainly involved in the Life, Health, and Pension areas of the actuarial profession. The two levels of membership are Associate (ASA) and Fellow (FSA). Requirements for membership include a comprehensive series of exams. Topics covered in the exams include mathematics, finance, insurance, economics, interest theory, life models, and actuarial science.
