Songgutu

Songgutu 索額圖, son of Sonin (also known as Soni), was a regent to Chinese Emperor Kang Xi during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Songgutu was an uncle to Prince Yinreng, Kang Xi's crown prince. Songgutu was arrested after participating in plotting the emperor's attempted assassination. He was executed together with his six sons.
