Sonin

Sonin, also known as Soni (索尼), was a senior regent during Chinese Emperor Kang Xi's minority in the Qing Dynasty. Sonin belonged to the Plain Yellow Banner.

During the first years of Kang Xi's reign, a power struggle ensued among the regents. Sonin was too old to exert his leadership. His son, Songgutu helped the young emperor to get rid of Oboi.

Sonin died in 1667. Also known as Suoni.
