Southern Colonies

The Southern Colonies were four (sometimes five) of the Thirteen Colonies which eventually founded the United States of America. The Southern Colonies are generally considered to be Georgia Colony, North Carolina Colony, South Carolina Colony (originally one Carolina colony), Virginia Colony and sometimes Maryland Colony. Today this area is part of the U.S. Southern states.
