Taravai
Taravai is the 2nd largest island in the Gambier Islands of French Polynesia, at just over 8 km² (3.1 sq. mi.). It is located about 1.5 km (nearly 1 mile) southwest of Mangareva, and about 300 m north of the island of Angakauitai.
There main village is located near the main bay on the island's eastern shore.
