The Matrix: Anti-capitalist Database
The Matrix: an anticapitalist database and library is a not-for-profit project, developed under the GFDL, using wiki-software, hosted by Infoshop.org and the Alternative Media Project. The Matrix will become a comprehensive database on corporations, capitalism, the ruling class, and related subject matter. The Matrix is based on a section of Infoshop.org and a concept developed in the mid-1990s by Carter Butts and Chuck Munson. The advent of Mediawiki software made the realization of this project possible. It was launched on May 22, 2004.
The Matrix integrates Wikipedia articles in its field.
