March 13, 1881 March 1, 1881 Alexander II is assassinated
November 13, 1894 November 1, 1894 Tsar Nicholas II assumes the throne.
December 19, 1895 December 7, 1895 Lenin is arrested and held by authorities for an entire year, then exiled to Shushenskoye in Siberia.
