UN Security Council Resolution 687

United Nations Security Council Resolution 687 was adopted at the 2981st meeting on April 3, 1991, to welcome the restoration of the independence of Kuwait. It was passed by 12 votes to one (Cuba) with two abstentions (Ecuador and Yemen).
