University of Breslau

The University of Breslau (Universität Breslau) was a university in Breslau, Germany, which existed from 1702 until the city with the rest of Silesia was occupied by Stalin and given to the Peoples Republic of Poland after the Second World War. It was the second university in the Kingdom of Prussia, and was home to numerous Nobel Prize winners.

It was succeeded by the Wroclaw University.
