Viva Zapata!

Viva Zapata! is a 1952 biographical film which tells the story of Emiliano Zapata. It stars Marlon Brando, Jean Peters and Anthony Quinn.

The movie was written by John Steinbeck and Edgecumb Pinchon (uncredited). It was directed by Elia Kazan.

It won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor (Anthony Quinn) and was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Marlon Brando), Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Black-and-White, Best Music, Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture and Best Writing, Story and Screenplay.
