Warwickshire County Cricket Club

Warwickshire County Cricket Club is a cricket club (team) based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England (Birmingham historically being part of Warwickshire).

The team was extremely successful in the 1990s, with their allowed foreign player either being Brian Lara or Allan Donald. Lara set the world record for a first-class cricket score of 501 whilst playing for Warwickshire. Strong performances with the bat saw the county reclaim the County Championship in 2004.

There are proposals to relocate to a new ground, elsewhere in the city.

The current captain is Nick Knight and the coach is John Inverarity.
