張廷玉- A Han Chinese, under the eighteenth year of Kangxi's reign, Zhang Tingyu was the Scholar of the civil service examination and entered the civil service. He served under Kangxi as Secretary of State and as a Prime Minister under Yongzhen. Additionally, he was a key member of the central military and civil affairs office, 軍機樞. His colleagues included renown figures like Ma Qi 馬齊

He was an upstanding civil service officer and highly praised for both his upright character and principled background. There is some confusion as to whether he or another trusted official Long Keduo(隆科多) was the principle announcer of the will of Kangxi.
