Zoropsid spiders are uncommon, somewhat wolf spider-like, wandering, cribellate spiders. The eye arrangement is not like that of wolf spiders as the eyes are in two rows and are more equal in size. Little is known of their biology, but they include about 20 species in 5 genera found primarily in New Zealand, Eurasia, and the Mediterranean area. One species, Zorocrates spinimana, was accidently introduced to the United States.
